Factual Resilience of Forms That Never Existed

Light has always been an integral part of my inquiry and practice. How does light fill up space? How a space reacts and is altered by it? These questions are what fascinate me. Here video, a time-based medium, is used as a source of light. It is both my main object and subject.

The installation consists of a projector placed opposite a screen. The projected video consists of close-up objects so that only colors are visible. As the object changes, the color changes and so does the environment of the room changes. White Plinths are placed in the vicinity so other objects can be observed as the changes occur. In a distance is empty hall that also takes affect of the changing light.

Viewers are allowed to move around the space as they experience the change in the environment and are welcome to interact with the projector and screen.
